Poppy Seed Bread
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 c. poppy seed
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Combine sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour with soda. Add
to sugar mixture with evaporated milk, mixing well. Add nuts and
poppy seeds. Turn into greased floured loaf pans. Bake at 350
degrees for 45-60 minutes. Yields 2 loaves. |
