Pumpkin Nut Bread
1 c. oil
4 c. sugar
1 lg. can pumpkin
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chopped nuts
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
Mix oil and sugar in large bowl. Add pumpkin. Sift dry ingredients,
reserving 1 cup. Add remaining flour mixture. To pumpkin mixture add
nuts and last cup of flour. Pour into greased loaf pans and bake at
350 degrees for 1 hour. Yields 3 loaves. |
